At a glance
Wakefield Crowbar is a neighborhood sports bar and entertainment venue built around live games, sand volleyball and casual group gatherings. The Houston venue combines a full-service bar, restaurant setting and recreation areas, giving different kinds of outings a shared place to meet. Its indoor and outdoor screens make sports viewing a central part of the atmosphere, with dedicated spaces for watch parties and event gatherings.
Three regulation-size sand volleyball courts anchor the outdoor recreation program. The courts support league play, private bookings and free play, with options for organized matches, social games and group events. Cornhole lanes add another activity, while the large patio extends the venue's open-air setting beyond the courts. The combination of sports viewing and active recreation suits groups that prefer more than a standard bar visit.
Inside, the sports bar features a 24-foot television wall, and the main bar has a 16-foot screen. Additional televisions are positioned throughout the indoor and outdoor areas, keeping games visible from multiple parts of the venue. This layout supports individual match viewing as well as larger watch parties for seasonal sporting events.
The food and drink menus give the venue a restaurant component alongside its bar program. The full bar serves cocktails and draft beer, while the food menu provides a straightforward option for groups that want to eat during a game, league night or social gathering. The setting is also designed for mixed-age visits, with a children’s play area and family-friendly access during the earlier part of the day and evening.
Private event spaces are available for corporate functions, parties, watch parties and fundraisers. Volleyball courts can also be reserved for birthdays, private leagues and other group occasions. These options make Wakefield Crowbar suitable for sports fans, recreational players, families, organized leagues and groups arranging a dedicated event space. Reservations, court bookings and event inquiries are handled through the venue.
